If wishes were horses not all men would ride; this sums up the first chapter of "The Devil's Storybook". This book is directed at a young adult audience and can best be described as an elementary version of the Screwtape Letters. Discussing the devil and his tactics with children can lead to dark or confusing discussions, this book addresses that problem by discussing Satan using the the fairy tale. The ten tales discusses 10 different ways the devil appeals to us earthly folk. Each tale invites discussion and I recommend that Mom and Dad read this along with their children age 10 and older
